Sara’s love for dance, movement, anatomy, and kinesiology is what brought her to her first yoga class in 2005. She has found an art form in the many styles of yoga throughout the years, and has found the most beauty in the styles based on the following practices: Hatha, Ashtanga, Vinyasa, Anusara, Jivamukti, and Satyananda.
She received her Bachelor of Arts Degree from Lake Erie College in 2008 where her studies were focused in Anatomy & Kinesiology, Pilates, Wellness, and Sports Nutrition. She received her 200-hour yoga certification in 2012 through Marni Task’s Jivasara training.
The concept of Balance & Brews is what makes joining the team not only an honor, but a perfect fit for Sara. She loves yoga, craft beer, and people to share the experience with.
In addition to yoga and beer, Sara loves running, hiking, boating, cooking for family and friends, and playing music.

What is your day job?
I'm a musician, a yoga teacher, and a mother of 3 lovely ladies.
What lights you up?
Being surrounded by water, the silence of the mountains, and the overwhelming love I hold for my husband, children, and closest friends & family.
A favorite tv show?
Spongebob. It's the only television show I watch. 7:30-8am, every morning.
A favorite local spot?
Anywhere in Downtown Willoughby; parks, the river, restaurants, yoga studios, boutiques...love it all
What do you love about Balance & Brews?
At first it was the yoga and beer that drew me in...then it became more about the people; I really love Melissa, the teachers, the assistants, and our students who have developed our strong and ever-growing 'beer-yogi' community. It's about building a community really. And the fact that I'l blessed enough to be a part of it.
What's a dream vacation spot?
Oh man....seriously. How much time do you have? All in all, I love the mountains and water.
