DANIJELA DJUREINOVIC | RYT-200
After obtaining my 200 hour teacher training certificate and series of continuing education workshops my journey has taken me from teaching at studios to teaching in the most vibrant city in the Midwest. One of my favorite parts of teaching for Balance & Brews is that you can take your practice wherever you want - from having a fun, light hearted practice to having a connection to the intention. Another part I enjoy most is the connection I form with people after the class. The ability to get to know my students after the class is unique to this setting and seeing the same people helps me develop relationships with them.
Danijela's classes are mindful yet challenging. She hopes that every student listens to his or her body during the practice, as they are ultimately their own teachers. Her classes are inspired by her own journey in yoga: her struggles, joys and hope.

My best friend's kids, my family and friends. The ability to do what I love as a day job and teach yoga at the best venues are pretty rewarding.

Game of Thrones!
A favorite local spot?
It's actually my super comfy couch. I enjoy having friends over and just lounging around, drinking a good beer or a glass of red wine.
What do you love about Balance & Brews?
What do I NOT love? I love the sense of community, the support we give each other as yoga teachers and brand warriors. I love the ability to have conversations with the students that are longer than a few words. It helps build relationships and friendships.
What's a dream vacation spot?
Anyone who knows me knows that I love to travel. My dream vacation spot changes all the time. When I think of one, I make it happen and go there. It's difficult to find a favorite when our world is so big and beautiful.
