Yoga to me is strengthening the connection between the mind and body- creating stillness and giving ourselves all of the love we deserve. When I was attending the University of Kentucky, I had studied Psychology and was well on my way to becoming a mental health therapist, but in my fourth year, I discovered yoga. I recognized its powerful effect on our mind and body- and in turn, completed my degree and found my true path to become a yoga instructor. The simplicity of the practice is so beautiful and teaching that healing power to others is such a gift! I earned my 200 hour certificate in Cincinnati soon after I graduated from college and I have furthered my training during a yoga retreat in Playa Negra, Costa Rica. Setting an intention plays a huge role in my personal practice and I'm passionate about spreading that positive energy & love to my students.

My love for craft beer grew as I worked as a bartender/server at a local bar and during that time, I dreamed of connecting two of my favorite things: yoga and beer. Balance & Brews has helped this dream come true and it is amazing to be a part of this community.

Off the mat, I love traveling, going on long hikes, trying new restaurants, exploring art museums, painting and cooking yummy food!
